About Us

The Lending A Hand Society was established in 2015 by the directors of alternative Mortgage Investment Company, PHL Capital Corp. Wanting to provide resources that accelerate positive community change, the directors established a platform from which they could give back using philanthropic efforts in the communities they live and do business in. The Lending A Hand Society strongly believes in focusing on charities that support at-risk children and youth, giving them the best chance at success.

In selecting charities, Lending A Hand Society ensures that the charitable organizations align with their values, and that their donations are most effectively applied towards the cause.To further their commitment to the community, the staff at PHL Capital Corp. regularly participate in group volunteering opportunities, as they believe that giving time can be as valuable as giving money.

The Lending A Hand Society uses an endowment structure as it is best suited to our long-term goal of sustained giving. All donations to Lending A Hand Society are eligible for tax receipts.
